Five difficult and important words for me

1. prevalent 流行的  
    Something widespread in a particular area at a particular time.
    例句: Among this group smoking is less prevalent than in the general population.

2. freight 貨物  
    Goods transported by truck, train, ship, or aircraft.
    例句: Trains first transported only freight .

3. far-fetched 牽強的  
    It means unlikely and unconvincing.
    例句: The theory is not as far-fetched as it would at first appear.

4. authentic 真實的  
    It means real.
    例句: He had provided an authentic and authoritative history of the competition.

5. conventional 常規 
    It based on or in accordance with what is generally done or believed.
    例句: In his own existence, he was very conventional .
